Major General Ibrahim Ahmed Abu Limon, Governor of Menoufia, accompanied by his deputy Muhammad Musa and Major General Emad Youssef, assistant secretary to the teaching hospital, immediately moved to the teaching hospital upon notification of a sudden electrical failure in the second floor of the teaching hospital in intensive care .

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Electricity was assigned to provide additional generators near the hospital overnight in anticipation of any emergency, and to send technicians from the Directorate to assist the teaching hospital technicians in repairing the malfunctions. He also instructed governorate officials to provide other backup generators to deal with any emergency throughout that night .

At the same time, the governor listened to the medical and nursing staff and reassured himself about the patients, stressing that the patients' condition was stable and that no damage had occurred to the existing patients and the return of electrical current, stressing the provision of all aspects of health care to patients .

He also assigned the assistant secretary to be in the hospital permanently until the arrival of the generators and to ensure the full regularity of the situation, as well as to assign the director of the governorate operations room to a full stay overnight to help in any emergency, and to facilitate any obstacles for the officials of the teaching hospital .
