Dr. Adel Mubarak, President of Menoufia University, inaugurated this Thursday morning, an intensive care room at the Oncology Hospital, as part of a series of openings witnessed by Menoufia University Hospitals in their comprehensive development plan.

The president of the university confirmed that the Oncology Hospital is the main hospital for treating tumors in the Menoufia Governorate and the neighboring governorates (Beheira, Qalyubia, and Gharbia), and it provides an integrated set of services needed by oncology patients through the various units in the hospital, and it includes a distinguished elite of doctors in the specialization Oncology, and due to the increase in the number of visitors, many facilities and openings are being made to cover the increasing need for a larger number of beds and rooms to accommodate the increasing number of patients.

Mubarak explained that the newly opened care room with a capacity of 6 beds is equipped with the latest care equipment and keeps pace with the technology for developing radiotherapy devices .
