Dr. Faisal Judeh, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Menoufia Governorate, stated that the Free Treatment Department in the directorate has launched an extensive inspection campaign in the governorate to pass on hospitals and medical centers to ensure the regularity of work within medical facilities and to follow the infection control policy.

The Director of the Free Treatment Department in the Directorate indicated that the campaign resulted in the passage of (130) medical facilities within the governorate, and (4( )violating medical facilities were closed, and a decision is being issued to close 28 other( )facilities and alert43facilities, She explained that the number of establishments that comply( with the requirements is (55), in addition to that (30 facilities were monitored for violating( )infection control policies, 28) unlicensed facilities, (13 for violating licensing requirements( and the absence of unqualified workers

The Governor of Menoufia affirmed the continuation of these inspection campaigns at the governorate level to preserve the safety of citizens and take all necessary legal measures against violators .
