In the framework of the directives of Governor of Mounofia Said Abbas, to raise the efficiency of the electricity network in the province, Dr. Ayman Mukhtar, Secretary General of the governorate holds the second meeting to discuss the plan to develop electricity networks in the governorate. The meeting was attended by heads of local units of centers, cities and neighborhoods, south of the lake and Sadat and the director of electricity sector branch in Menoufia.
They discussed the plan for the development of electricity networks in the province. The heads of cities and neighborhoods presented a detailed report on electricity stalls and medium and low voltage cables to increase efficiency or change, as well as streets and roads to be fed by electricity and deprived residential areas in their respective districts.
The Secretary-General stressed that this meeting aims to raise the efficiency of service provided to citizens and reduce the rate of breakdowns to overcome the weaknesses in the networks to absorb the generated capacity and to keep pace with the increase in population in electricity consumption. On the sidelines of the meeting, the Secretary-General discussed reviewing the collection of cleaning fees at the level of the cities of the province and how to develop them to suit the public interest of the citizen.
